Due to market changes following the recent economic crisis many businesses have decided not to replace their existing Accounting or ERP systems, however they still need to improve these packages. As a result AMAS IT had to diversify and decided, after much research, to adopt Flynet Xcelsius Server (FXS) as their preferred Data Visualisation Solution to solve this problem. Using FXS we have been able to offer and successfully deliver Value Added Services and Solutions to our existing client based as well as open other unseen opportunities we would never have had without Flynet. Digital Dashboards are proving much more popular than we ever expected and are now affordable to most SME’s.

Many users of traditional accounting systems, in particular those who run either customised or heavily bespoken systems are happy with their systems. For those users the move to a more modern system will be cost prohibitive and the management of change expensive. As a result of being able to offer solutions provided by Flynet, plus the added chargeable services, we have increased our revenue considerably, adding a 21st century facelift to legacy systems.

One of our clients was looking to modernise their MIS (Management Information System) without having to replace their legacy accounting system. They now have a state of the art MIS system, which incorporates Dashboards and is accessible by all their sales and management staff, locally or via their extranet using Flynet technologies. They wanted to combine data from a multitude of data sources and present it on one Dashboard. The sources included a Sage Line 100 accounting system, a bespoke database for quote management, online sales and marketing (ecommerce), a legacy CRM system and incredibly excel spreadsheets. After the initial systems success, more dashboards are being developed for other departments.

From a commercial perspective we are delighted with the software product mix offered by Flynet. They are opening opportunities but more importantly we are able to make profit from providing these solutions and services. Furthermore, we are able to offer an ongoing support package for these solutions where additional maintenance revenue is being generated.

The training provided by Flynet was first class, and they went out their way to make it focus on what we were specifically looking to achieve. Learning the software was made much easier, even for non programmers, as the support provided by Flynet was superb and is amongst the best we have ever received. As a VAR (Value Added Reseller) it is important we receive good support especially for new solutions. The team at Flynet have been exceptional and have always responded to support requests promptly and with resolve. They have even gone beyond the call of duty to assist with other technical issues we encountered.
