Currently there are two connection types available OLEDB and ODBC.

 

You will need to ensure that your data source supports the selected connection type and that you

have the relevant drivers installed.

 

 

In the example shown above the connection is an Excel spreadsheet , the Web Service parameter check boxes are not checked in this example which means that they will not be available as web service parameters.

 

When connecting to Text files , Excel Spreadsheets or Access databases the path to the file should be entered as the data source.
