Is Flynet Viewer interoperable with the .NET Framework?
Yes. Flynet Viewer is built on ASP.NET. It is compatible with the .NET Framework versions 1.1 and 2.0, and has fully programmable native .NET classes, which can be used for server-side customisation.
How does Flynet Viewer provide security?
Flynet Viewer maintains existing security on the host system by using secure sign-on. In addition, it can encrypt data between the Flynet Viewer server and client using SSL.
Is it possible to customize Flynet Viewer?
Yes. There are three different ways to customise Flynet Viewer:
- Look and Feel - change fonts, colours, add backgrounds, logos, click-able buttons (or hotspots)
- Interaction - Using Java Script, a programmer can capture a number of events to add functionality. E.g. change internet addresses into clickable hyperlinks or skip several unused screens
- Server-side - Fully programmable native .NET classes can be used to improve, log and control sessions.
