Upon our recent implementation of Business Objects XI, we were faced with the dilemma of how to feed data to our Crystal Xcelsius dashboards which are replicated online to our client-base. On the surface, the solution initially seemed simple since Xcelsius has a built-in capability to import XML web service, however, having no XML expertise in-house, the options appeared to be limited to either retaining expensive consultants or endeavoring to bring our in-house staff up to speed.
