Who are Flynet?

Flynet is a leading supplier of Business Integration software and services. Who are we, and how did we get where we are now?

Our purpose is to enable, enhance and evolve current computer systems, allowing business to grow with minimal increase in overhead.

Since 1995 Flynet have been building some of the industries most advanced and sophisticated internet based solutions. We have been pioneers in fusing the latest in web technologies such as XML, AJAX, DHTML with established business systems running on IBM, VMS and UNIX. Over the years we have been able to work with some of the biggest enterprises in the world.

In 1998 we decided, based on the shortcomings of the tools we were using, to start in-house development of what would become Flynet Viewer. This powerful feature rich toolset enables developers to rapidly integrate legacy systems with enhanced .NET applications and web services, using automatic code generation.

Realising the potential of web services and data visualisation, we partnered with Business Objects to offer Xcelsius Engage Server. This software combines Flynet's aptitude for connectivity with Business Objects legendary data visualisation, providing real-time web-based reflection of critical business data.
